Dr. Min Wu has made significant contribution to understanding of the mechanisms of P. aeruginosa (PA) respiratory infection involving autophagy, epigenetics and ubiquitination, especially during phagocytosis, inflammatory response, and bacterial clearance. His lab investigates how epigenetic modifications (miRNAs) are associated with pathogenesis of lung infection. Dr. Wu currently focuses on how CRISPR-Cas adaptive immune systems regulate pathogen endogenous gene expression to dictate bacterial invasion.
